CI Games launches with The Lords of the Fallen It's being remade once again, but it seems there won't be a direct sequel after all.

In The Lords of the Fallen Players can expect a vast world in a brand-new, dark fantasy action RPG. In it, they embark on an epic quest as one of the legendary Dark Crusaders to overthrow Adyr, the demon god.

The Lords of the Fallen Set over a thousand years after the events of the first game, this new adventure offers a completely new experience in a vast, interconnected world more than five times the size of the original. A sprawling RPG experience filled with side quests, compelling characters, and a rich story, players must create their own hero before embarking on the single-player campaign. Additionally, players will be able to invite a second player to join their adventure in continuous online co-op – a new feature for the franchise.

The developers promise a game world five times larger than the original. The living and the dead share this world, while you yourself must complete numerous quests, meet many characters, learn magic, and much more.

“The Lords of the Fallen is the spiritual successor that fans of the original title have always wanted,” said Cezar Virtosu, Creative Director. “The game is significantly larger, with a vast, interconnected world that players can explore solo or with friends. It’s darker and more challenging, with faster Souls-like combat, stronger themes, a richer narrative, deeper RPG systems, and a more compelling story.”

Executive Producer Saul Gascon is also on board for the reboot (Dead by Daylight, PayDay 2) and Creative Director Cezar Virtosu (Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Assassin's Creed: Origins).
