Focus Home Interactive and Deck13 today released the major expansion 'The Surge: A Walk in the Park' and are celebrating with a launch trailer.
The first single-player expansion takes players to the freely explorable, but no less deadly, environment of the abandoned amusement park on the CREO grounds. CREO World was designed as a leisure park for all CREO employees and their families. Therefore, its environment differs fundamentally from the rest of the CREO complex, which is characterized by numerous automated production halls. Players explore the secrets of the ravaged park and fight against deranged mascots and new boss enemies in the shadows of the rides. They have 16 completely new weapons, armor pieces, and implants at their disposal.
In addition to the free Fire & Ice weapons expansion, A Walk in the Park offers new content for the single-player campaign, keeping The Surge fresh six months after its release.
