Deck 13 has released the new expansion for their hardcore RPG 'The Surge'. Titled 'The Good, the Bad, and the Augmented', it takes you to an old augmented laboratory with a Western setting.
Enter the CREO facility and explore an old, abandoned quality assurance lab, designed to push CREO technology to its limits. Warren will face Dr. Rischboter's deadly test chambers, which for some reason seem like they've been plucked from a twisted Wild West TV show. You'll have to contend not only with the mad doctor's ruthless traps and allies, but also with his sneering taunts as he delves deeper into the challenges of the Old West.
Cowboys, Native Americans, and Mexican bandits populate this unusual scene – but whether they are accomplices of the mad doctor or unfortunate victims of his insanity, no one has been spared the 'Surge,' and all will fight to the death. There's a new sheriff in town… and he's got his hands full.
Fight your way through the mad doctor's training rooms and try modifying them yourself to earn more rewards by combining up to 4 of the 16 insane modifiers. At the end of each stage, you'll have to fight different challengers – powerful opponents forged from the training scenarios and equipped with 30 unique new pieces of equipment – armor, weapons, and implants – that you can take with you afterward.
