New footage from 'The Technomancer' was recently shown at E3, and now another trailer has been released. This one gives you a closer look at how to survive on Mars.

Terraforming on the Red Planet was abandoned centuries ago, and the sun beats down mercilessly – not exactly the most welcoming place. Deadly dangers lurk around every corner. Countless hybrid creatures roam the canyons. These are creatures originally created by the first settlers through genetic manipulation based on Earth's wildlife. But other human survivors can be just as dangerous. Since Mars was isolated from Earth, several factions have emerged, each desperate to seize as much power as possible. Players can align themselves with these groups or become enemies, depending on the choices they make throughout the story.

A diplomatic or even stealthy approach can be helpful in avoiding a risky situation. However, sometimes combat is unavoidable, and the use of the devastating Technomancer powers is essential. These powers cover a wide range of applications and can be enhanced by investing points in the skill tree. In addition, there are two further exclusive upgrades that fundamentally alter the powers. Technomancer powers complement the chosen combat stance. Players can fight with the staff, the typical weapon of the Technomancer. Or they can choose the blade and pistol, both hallmarks of the Rogue; the mace and shield are the preferred weapons of the Soldier. Like the Technomancer powers, each combat stance also has its own skill tree through which new abilities can be learned.

Upgrading your arsenal is equally important. Players can obtain weapons and armor as loot, purchase them, or receive them as rewards for successfully completing quests. Each item has its own bonus. Some items have crafting slots that allow you to further optimize their properties. This way, you can improve damage and resistance and add various special effects, such as interruption, resistance to specific damage types, energy regeneration, and more.

The Technomancer will be released on June 28th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
