Following the demise of Telltale Games in recent weeks, the development of 'The Walking Dead: The Final Season' has been handed over to Skybound Entertainment, who have now officially resumed work on it.
An update on the official website reveals that a lot of preparation was necessary to take over the project, including hiring the original developers.
"A lot of logistical work was necessary to get us to a place where we could roll up our sleeves and get down to business. We are therefore pleased to let you know that many of the talented, passionate team members who originally worked on the game will continue development work from today!"
The release date for the remaining episodes will be announced shortly. Furthermore, they assure customers that the existing Season Pass remains valid and they will not need to pay for the episodes again.
