THQ Nordic is currently on another acquisition spree and has managed to acquire Secure further well-known brands, including the popular TimeSplitters franchise.

Originally developed by Free Radical, the series has been dormant for several years, although there have been recurring ambitions to revive it. Under THQ Nordic's ownership, the chances of this happening are now much better, as they must have had some reason for the acquisition. Perhaps a remaster of the three original games?

Furthermore, they have secured the rights to Second Sight, which was also developed by Free Radical. The last game in the series was released in 2004 for PlayStation 2. THQ Nordic's plans for the franchise are currently unknown.
