Although many were not entirely satisfied with Alicia Vikander in the lead role of Lara Croft in the current reboot of the Tomb Raider film, there will probably be another movie with her.
This is currently being reported by the Insider magazine. Deadline, according to which MGM and Warner Bros. have already commissioned the script, this time by Amy Jump (Free Fire) Vikander is reportedly already enjoying her role in the Jump script.
Details about the film itself are currently unknown, and even though some disliked the casting of Lara Croft, the film grossed $274 million and was therefore profitable. The later Blu-ray and UHD releases were also a success, and the 4K version is even considered a reference film in terms of technical execution.
Further details about the new Tomb Raider film are not expected for several months.
