Apart from the most recent trilogy
The announcement of the new game isn't really surprising. Although the latest trilogy was only completed two years ago, it was already hinted at the time that Lara Croft would be embarking on new adventures in the future, adventures not tied to the trilogy or its story.
It's currently unclear when the new game will be released or on which platforms. Of course, we can only hope it's a true next-gen title. Tomb Raider-The experience can be enjoyable.
Please, no more emo Lara. The reboots are great gameplay-wise, but Lara's personality stays the same, and the enemies are always strangely Russian-speaking. The Uncharted trilogy handled that much better.
