XSEED Games has announced a PS4 version of their role-playing game 'Trails of Cold Steel I & II', which will also be released in Europe in 2019.
Trails of Cold Steel tells the story of a group of military students caught in the political conflicts between the nobility and the commoners. Erebonian is shaken by political unrest, and the country is on the brink of a major upheaval. The player takes on the role of students attending a military academy together and enjoying student life. To gain new skills for the tactical, turn-based combat system, it is important to forge new friendships and build and deepen relationships.
The Legend of Heroes: The Trails of Cold Steel II
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II brings back tactical and turn-based combat with the newly developed ARCUS system and offers a new Overdrive mode, new transportation options, new companions, and a new story centered around Rean, who has not yet given up hope for peace.
Both games include the Japanese and English voice acting, which has been supplemented with an additional 5000 lines.
Trails of Cold Steel I & II will be released in early 2019.
