Trion Worlds today announced a brand new expansion for the voxel MMO 'Trove', which will be available on all platforms from June.
Trove: Geode plunges players into an adventure of exploration and discovery on a brand-new planet brimming with wonders and sights. Explore Geode's intricate cave network, uncover new knowledge about Geode and its inhabitants, and become part of an adventurous story in a vast new world.
Trion Worlds writes the following:
"The peaceful inhabitants of Geode need your help. The shadow forces have taken over the planet and are forcing the Geodians to seek refuge. In their desperation, they ask all Trovians to visit the planet, explore its caves, and utilize its resources to help the Geodians reclaim their planet."
Trove: Geode is the next step in Trove's evolution, offering a fresh, new gameplay experience. Exploration is more important than combat, allowing players to discover new collectibles and companions – and embark on an adventurous story unfolding in Geode's labyrinth of tunnels and cave systems.
Trove: Geode launches this summer alongside the already announced Trove Bomber Royale modeAs a fast and action-packed variant of the Battle Royale gameplay, Trove Bomber Royale offers up to 20 players the opportunity to throw bombs at each other across the battlefield, use power-ups and blow the terrain to pieces – to be the last Trovian standing.
Trove – Geode will be available from June 26th.
