Soedesco has announced a comprehensive update for their simulation 'Truck Driver' this May, which will include a new AI system, a Unity engine upgrade and many other improvements.

The upcoming patch brings significant improvements to the AI vehicles and pedestrian AI, for which the foundation for the new AI system has been completely reimplemented. The AI's behavior is now more realistic, and pedestrians in Truck Driver now cross the road and react to traffic.

Continuous improvements

The new AI system will be further improved in the future, including new AI vehicles. This patch also updated the Unity engine from version 2017.4 to version 2019.2, resulting in smoother frame rates, fewer stutters, and easier access for the development studio Kokku to add new features and content.

In addition, the patch offers two new purchasable garages, a force feedback sensitivity slider, various UI improvements, and some minor content and bug fixes that enhance the gameplay experience.
