Ubisoft's combat title 'For Honor' is primarily intended to appeal to core gamers and less to the mass market like an Assassin's Creed or Far Cry game.

The publisher made this statement at its investor conference this week regarding the current quarterly report, where CFO Alain Martine said that they were aware that they did not necessarily expect the games to break all sales records.

"For Honor is more of a core game, less of a mass market title."
so Martinez.

The specific ways in which the game's content will differ from a mass-market product were not discussed further during the investor conference. We will likely have to wait for the next official game presentation, planned for this spring. At that time, they also intend to showcase more of the campaign itself.

For Honor will be released sometime in the publisher's next fiscal year.
