Capcom today announced the release dates for 'Ultra Street Fighter IV', which will be released both digitally and on Blu-ray.
According to this, the digital version will be released as an upgrade on June 04th on PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Network, followed by the full version as a bundle on Blu-ray on August 08th, 2014.
Those who pre-order the upgrade from the PlayStation Store or the full version will receive the 2014 Challengers Costume Pack, which contains selected and alternative outfits for each of the five characters, including Jungle Elena, Medieval Hugo, Pirate Poison, Wizard Rolento and Gladiator Decapre.
In addition, six new battle arenas were integrated into ‘Ultra Street Fighter IV’ to offer even more visual variety – Pitstop 109, Mad Gear Hideout, Cosmic Elevator, Blast Furnace, Half Pipe and the Jurassic Era Research Facility.
Additionally, fan feedback was gathered to fine-tune the gameplay of all 39 original characters from Super Street Fighter IV AE and the fundamental game mechanics. The result: the most balanced Street Fighter ever.
Finally, Capcom promises brand new modes and features, including Team Battle mode, Online Training mode, Red Focus, Delayed Standing and Ultra Double Combo.
