A recent survey about the next PlayStation focuses on the most desired features for Sony's upcoming console.
A survey of 1245 gamers in Great Britain revealed that one feature is particularly important to them – backward compatibility. A full 71 percent of respondents want to be able to play their PlayStation 3 games on the new console. Other desired features included a reasonable price, 4K resolution, and a larger hard drive.

Those surveyed who opted for backward compatibility were subsequently asked why they specifically wanted this feature. 48 percent stated that they continued to invest significant sums of money in last-generation games, even though they play on the PlayStation 3.
