So it's finally happening! After first rumors Sony today announced 'Until Dawn: Rush of Blood', which is currently being developed for PlayStation VR.
Aside from the fact that Until Dawn: Rush of Blood is a standalone experience, not much has been revealed about the title. However, based on previous rumors, you'll be riding in a minecart and experiencing everything from a first-person perspective, similar to an on-rails shooter. This minecart will take you through various environments, including a snow level and a house where enemies like Wendigos await. The game also features some jump scares, including a ghost that you have to fight at the end.
Besides that schreibt Sony's comments on this:
“In creating a gripping VR gaming experience, we were able to incorporate many familiar elements from Blackwood Pines, but present them from a terrifying new perspective. When we started working on Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, we were still in the middle of developing Until Dawn. Even then, we knew that the world and characters we created would also be perfect for entirely new gaming experiences.”
