This year, the Video Game Awards became the VGX, with the X standing for Next-Gen, but the awards themselves remained the same.
You were able to vote on the nominations beforehand, and this year, as always, there were certainly a few controversial titles. Now the winners have been decided, and overall, they were well-deserved. As expected, 'GTA V' took home the Game of the Year award, Naughty Dog was named Studio of the Year, and the best shooter isn't Call of Duty this time.
The title with the most awards this year is 'The Last of Us', which was also voted the best PlayStation game.
