In August, the true role-playing classic "Visions of Mana" returns, its release confirmed today by Square Enix. A new trailer showcases the playable characters and new gameplay features.

"Visions of Mana" is the next main installment in the Mana series and tells a brand new story. Players accompany Val, a newly appointed Soulkeeper, as he guides his childhood friend Hina, the Priestess of Fire, to the Mana Tree. The new trailer introduces the characters Palmina and Julei, who befriend Val and Hina. Players can assemble their own trio and switch between the five playable characters: Val, Carina, Morley, Palmina, and Julei, while their companions Ramco, Ashe, and Hina provide support.

The trailer also showcases some gameplay features, including Spirit Relics – mystical artifacts imbued with the power of the elements. Spirit Relics allow players to change classes and gain new abilities in combat. Each character has a unique class for each Spirit Relic, allowing players to customize their team for a flexible and fast-paced fighting style.

A familiar feature also returns in "Visions of Mana": the combat radial menu, which allows you to pause the fight and plan your next move. In the vast, colorful world, elemental obstacles await discovery by the players. Behind these lie new locations to explore or items to find. With your companions Vuscav and Flämmchen, you can even explore the sea and sky or discover the world map.

Visions of Man will be available in Digital Standard and Digital Deluxe Editions. Those who pre-order the Digital Standard or Digital Deluxe Edition will receive the in-game item "Bold Blade" for Val as a pre-order bonus. Those who purchase the Digital Standard or Digital Deluxe Edition before September 30, 2024, will also receive the following in-game items as an early purchase bonus: "Khoda's Rift" for Val and the "Starter Pack" item set. This set increases experience points and Lucre earned for a limited time.
