To coincide with today's Valentine's Day, 110 Industries has released a new trailer for their melee combat title. Wanted: Dead, which is scheduled to be released for PS5 next year.

Wanted: Dead It takes place in a darker and more dangerous version of a sci-fi Hong Kong, where honed skills are needed for survival. Playing as Lt. Hannah Stone, leader of the "Zombie Squad," an elite team operating outside the jurisdiction of the traditional police, you undertake various missions throughout the city.

“We’ve been thrilled with the response from the press and the public since we unveiled Wanted: Dead last year,” said Sergei Kolobashkin, founder and creative director at 110 Industries. “Everyone seems to have really embraced the quirky style and tone we’re aiming for! We hope you all enjoy our Valentine’s Day gift, and I promise there’s much more to come this year, so keep your eyes peeled!”

Inspired by devil may cry and BayonettaThis promises a deep combat system, as well as the ability to fight enemies up close and in person, or optionally with weapons from a distance, with cool slow-motion sequences and severance mechanics that change enemy attack patterns and add more style and substance to combat encounters.

The latest video also delves into the glorious movement system and the in-depth combat systems that underpin this breathtaking action. Further details will be revealed in the coming months.

Wanted: Dead It will be released in 2023 for PlayStation 5.
