There is finally a release date for 'Warhammer: Vermintide' on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which Fatshark and Nordic Games confirmed today for October.
Fatshark will self-publish the digital version for both consoles, while Nordic Games will release the boxed versions worldwide.
"Over half a million PC gamers are already thrilled with Vermintide, and console gamers can follow suit this fall," reports Martin Wahlund, CEO of Fatshark. “Console owners will receive an expanded version that includes all DLCs released so far for PC.”
"The combination of Fatshark and Warhammer sounds too good to be true. We already have several fanboys on our team who have played Krater, Lead and Gold, and of course Vermintide to death on PC. To say that we're incredibly excited to be working with Fatshark on Warhammer: Vermintide for consoles and the physical version for PC is the understatement of 2016." Reinhard Pollice, Business and Product Development Director at Nordic Games, commented.
The console version will include the extremely challenging Last Stand game mode. It also features two maps where players must defeat hordes of Skaven one after another in nerve-wracking and increasingly difficult battles. Additionally, it includes the Sigmar's Blessing and Dragon's Rock DLC, which offers three extra adventure maps outside of Ubersreik.
Warhammer: Vermintide will be released on October 04, 2016.
