Bandai Namco today released new information and a trailer for 'Warriors All-Stars', which provides a closer look at the story and characters.
The new action-packed Tamaki Clan trailer focuses on the characters Zhao Yun, Lu Bu, Wang Yunaji, and Zhou Cang from Dynasty Warriors; Oka, Tokitsugu, and Horo from Toukiden; Sophie and Plachta from Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Book; Opoona from Opoona; and Princess Tamaki. These playable Champions in Warriors All-Stars have been summoned from a variety of worlds and eras—within the Koie Tecmo universe—to save a mysterious land from impending destruction.
About the story
With the mysterious death of the king, a magical spring dries up, threatening to destroy the world. Princess Tamaki's attempt to summon heroes from other realms through a ritual spirals out of control, scattering them across the kingdom. Legend says that the one who liberates the land will be crowned its new ruler. Tamaki sets out to find the newcomers and secure peace. But her rivals Setsuna and Shiji—descendants of the royal family—also vie for the throne. Unaware of their destiny, and with little choice, the champions divide into three factions to prepare for the decisive battle.
Warriors All-Stars players carefully select their allies and can unlock additional characters for their chosen faction in central battles and free scenarios to build their optimal team. Character choices influence the course and outcome of the story through the new and improved bonding system. Character relationships improve through shared battles or time spent in the barracks. The stronger the bond, the more powerful abilities are activated, helping players gain the upper hand on the battlefield.
Warriors All-Stars will be released on September 01, 2017.
