Ubisoft today announced the release of the Watch Dogs H_ide app. With it, users can immerse themselves in the anonymity of the internet and utilize the following features: anonymous voice messages, encrypted text messages, and image encryption.

The application serves as an alternative operating system and allows users to utilize their smartphone's functions in a completely new way. For example, voice messages of up to 20 seconds in length can be recorded. The user can then modulate their voice with a range of filters and send it to a friend.

Additionally, it will be possible to encrypt images or personal texts and share them via social networks or SMS. To decrypt the encrypted images on Facebook, they are scanned with the app. The same applies to texts; messages can be decrypted simply by using the H_ide app.
