Ubisoft has released update 5.5 for Watch Dogs Legion published, with which now also the Assassin's Creed Crossover is available. We'll tell you what else the update brings here.
This includes two free story missions – Enter the Assassins and The New Creed – as well as two free world missions – Templar Hunt and Artifact Hunt This allows players to take on the role of Darcy, a member of the Assassin Order, both in single-player mode and online. Assassin's Creed, hatch and use, among other things, the following abilities:
- Hidden BladeThe iconic assassin's weapon. Improves close-quarters combat and allows for takedowns from any angle.
- Eagle Drone: A reconnaissance drone that can self-destruct and emit a short-range electromagnetic pulse.
- AR FairingPlayers can assume the appearance of an enemy to gain access to restricted areas. In multiplayer mode, this also applies to nearby allies.
In addition, free content has been added for the online mode and the campaign, which looks like this in detail:
Online Mode:
- Invasion PvPThe fan-favorite PvP mode is getting the "Play-as-Anyone" treatment; invaders will have access to deception tools, including the ability to switch to other characters in the world to avoid detection. The search team will use its weapons, abilities, and tools from the environment to prevent the invader from downloading.
- Extraction PvP: A new mode in which players obtain the coveted crypto drives and race through the city to upload data while being hunted by opposing players.
- New rewards such as the Crown of Wishes Mask, the Timeless Livery Outfit, and the Ornate Nocturne Outfit.
Single-player campaign:
- Resistance modePlayers can experience the Watch Dogs: Legion campaign in a challenging new way, where:
- Permadeath is always enabled.
- Fast travel is disabled in the subway station.
- Most civilians dislike DedSec at first.
- Most abilities, hacks, and gadgets have significantly longer cooldown times.
