The announcement of the PlayStation 4 is not the end of Sony's plans, and they will reveal further important details about the next-gen console in the coming months.
Michael Denny, VP of Sony World Wide Studios, responded to the question of whether more announcements could be expected:
“Absolutely. That was the first announcement, it was an early announcement and I would say it was really designed to show what the design pillars for the PlayStation 4 are, what the character behind the PS4 is, where the goals lie and to get the game developer community on board.”
Sony believes it has made a good start with the PS4 and will use the rest of the year for further announcements.
