Following the acquisition of the license around two years ago, Big Ben Interactive and Kylotonn Games today officially announce 'WRC 7' for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

'WRC 7' continues the successful WRC series this fall and once again benefits from the experience gained by the French development studio Kylotonn. This year's title promises to be even more precise, realistic, and thrilling. The connection to the FIA World Rally Championship will also be clearer than ever before. In 'WRC 7', players can also look forward to the new 2017 World Rally cars, such as the Hyundai i20 driven by Thierry Neuville, Dani Sordo, and Hayden Paddon (who has already secured two wins in five races for Hyundai Motorsport in 2017), which is also featured in the first trailer.

New rule set on board

This year, the regulations for the World Rally Championship have changed, making all drivers' cars even more powerful. Their new specifications, amazing aerodynamics, and further improved handling make the rallies in 'WRC 7' even more spectacular.

The feeling of the cars' performance when driving with a controller has never been so realistic – they are aggressive, loud, and fast. They present a new challenge for players who battle against each other for crucial tenths of a second during the 13 WRC rallies – on asphalt, snow, and dirt tracks.

Players will also have the opportunity to compete with their favorite WRC drivers and cars from the 2017 season – including Sébastien Ogier (Ford Fiesta WRC), Kris Meeke (Citroën C3 WRC), and Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota Yaris WRC). The Hyundai i20 Coupé WRC is a 380-hp version of the road car and can reach 100 km/h in under 4 seconds. For Hyundai Motorsport, the three-door Hyundai i20 Coupé WRC is the third new team car since their championship debut in 2014.

'WRC 7' will be available from autumn 2017.
