WWE 2K25 Today, it expands its content catalog with the Saturday Night's Main Event Pack, which brings five legendary superstars of the "Golden Era" back into the ring.

Jesse Ventura, "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff, Tito Santana, Junkyard Dog, and Sid Justice are all now available, along with over 60 new moves and taunts. For fans, this means not only nostalgic moments but also new tactical options in matches and MyFaction.

A look back at the Golden Era

The 80s were more than just wrestling for WWE; it was an era that catapulted the sport into mainstream television. "Saturday Night's Main Event" played a key role in this: title matches, spectacular stipulation matches, and captivating storylines shaped a generation of fans. The impact of this era is still evident in WWE today. With the new DLC, players can relive that very energy.

The new superstars in focus

  • Jesse Ventura"The Body" was not only a wrestler, but also a commentator and later governor of Minnesota. His on-screen presence was always imposing, and his in-game moves reflected his distinctive aura.
  • Paul Orndorff"Mr. Wonderful" is unforgettable for his muscularity and piledriver. Anyone who uses his moves in the ring immediately feels the historical significance: Orndorff already faced Hulk Hogan and Mr. T in the main event of the first WrestleMania.
  • Tito Santana He scores points with technical wrestling and unforgettable finishers like the Flying Forearm Smash. His contribution to the first WrestleMania and the King of the Ring in 1989 shows why he is still a favorite of the community today.
  • Junkyard Dog He was charismatic like few others. With powerful headbutts and the feared "thump" powerslam, he was a fun but strategically important addition to the game.
  • Sid Justice He impresses with his size and powerbombing abilities. Whether against Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, or The Undertaker – he offers a dominant presence in every match type.

More than just nostalgia

The DLC pack includes not only new wrestlers, but also MyFaction maps that add strategic depth to the mode. Fans can purchase the superstars individually or via the Season Pass, Ringside Pass, and in the Special Editions (Farewell Tour, Bloodline, Deadman) unlock. Additional rewards include the Persona card of the WrestleMania 41 version of Penta and a new Galaxy Opal Token Market for particularly powerful cards.

The Saturday Night's Main Event Pack shows how WWE 2K25 Classic era icons are given a modern interpretation and cleverly integrated into the gameplay. Anyone who appreciates nostalgic moments while also wanting to try out new moves will find plenty of opportunities here. The question remains: Which Golden Era legend will be the game-changer in your matches?
