Four districts, four atmospheres
The Island is divided into four themed districts, each with its own identity:
- Hero HQHere, heroes make their grand entrance, while malicious rivals try to claim the glory for themselves.
- The Arcade of TomorrowA futuristic paradise for gamers and pop culture fans, combining tradition and modernity.
- The Temple of the Ancestors: A tribute to Lucha wrestling and the legends of the ring.
- The Dead LandsA ghostly arena where supernatural forces lurk and eerie stories are written.
Each district offers not only a unique arena, but also exclusive quests and challenges.
The path to becoming a wrestling star
Players begin with their individually created MySUPERSTAR, which can be upgraded using XP and VC. Customization options include gender, archetype, and weight class. In addition to cosmetic options from brands like Nike, Jordan, or the WWE Shop, attributes can be specifically improved to optimize one's personal style.

Quests, Story & The Line
The story of "The Island" is told through quests that span five chapters. Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman are the driving forces who constantly present players with new challenges through "The Line"—an in-game communication platform.
Up to 50 players can be on the same server. The PvP mode has five rank levels (Bronze to Diamond), with victories leading to rank increases and unlocking exclusive rewards.
WWE 2K25 "The Island" sets new standards for the wrestling genre and breathes new life into the series. Whether fans embrace the live-service model or view it with skepticism remains to be seen – however, initial impressions promise an ambitious experiment with great potential.
