Several premieres were mentioned in the run-up to the event, including... Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the release of Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 from Ninja Theory in May, as well as updates from Avowed of obsidian Search: History Untold from Oxide Games and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. These games were at least officially approved.

News regarding Activision/Blizzard has already been ruled out, as the acquisition has only just been completed and preparations are still needed. Nevertheless, the Xbox Developer Direct Showcase should be worth watching, as one or two titles might also be released for PS5.
There is speculation about this, especially regarding Indiana Jones and the Great CircleDisney will ultimately have a say in the game's development. Not much is known about it yet, even though it was announced back in 2021. However, its release is expected to be imminent this year.
