Assemble Entertainment and developer TinyRoar are presenting their new adventure game today. XEL a game inspired by, among other things, The Legend of Zelda. In it, players explore a mysterious and vibrant world full of puzzles and mysterious dungeons with merciless battles against exotic animals and robots.
XEL The game tells the story of Reid, a protagonist suffering from amnesia, who is shipwrecked on a mysterious world and has no memory of her former life. Players accompany Reid on her journey to uncover the secrets of this bizarre world full of mysteries.
Before you lies a picturesque and vibrant overworld with meticulously detailed environments and challenging dungeons in a classic top-down 3D action-adventure format. During her adventure, Reid encounters charming characters, fights his way through hordes of robots, and makes use of a whole host of weapons, items, gadgets, and moves – some of which can even help her jump through space and time.
Inspired by the Zelda series, it leads XEL thus taking you through an epic and heartwarming story full of fantastic locations and lovable characters, underscored by an emotional soundtrack from composer Gidon Wolff.
XEL It will be released in the second quarter of 2022 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch and PC.
