Soedesco and 3DClouds have confirmed the final release date for their futuristic racer 'Xenon Racer' for this coming March. They have also released a new gameplay trailer.
In 2030, the first flying cars are invented, and the World Federation Racing Championship prepares for a new era of racing with hybrid vehicles. To give teams time to adjust to this fundamental transition, the Federation takes a break from the season. Four of the world's leading hybrid-electric car manufacturers therefore join forces and decide to fill this gap by organizing "Xenon," a one-off championship for newcomers.
to test this new technology with car prototypes powered by a combination of electricity and xenon gas.
The federation, however, does not approve this Rogue Championship, and its lack of recognition means that the usual international racetracks cannot be used. Therefore, the gravity-defying racing action takes place on the busy streets of cities around the world, including Shanghai in China and Miami in the USA. There are also races in more tranquil locations, such as the French Riviera and Lake Louise in Canada. All of these locations can be seen in today's new trailer.
Xenon Racer will be released on March 26, 2019 for PS4, Xbox One and Switch.
