XING: The Land Beyond & Gary the Gull – Two new VR projects presented

Before tonight's big VR showdown, Sony has unveiled two more VR projects: XING: The Land Beyond and Gary the Gull.

Gary the Gull is an interactive VR film produced by former Pixar and Bungie employees. A film you can immerse yourself in. Here's more is it [called:

"You start on a beach with a cooler full of delicious food in front of you. And because it's VR, it feels like you're actually there. Then a seagull lands next to you – and starts talking! You can react – you can talk back, answer its questions with nods and head shakes, or simply ignore it. It's trying to distract you so you look away, and if you get too close, it will jump back. Because it's VR, it feels like the seagull is actually standing in front of you; it feels natural and fun to be part of the story."

Gary the Gull will be making his first appearance at GDC these days.

XING: The Land Beyond, on the other hand, is a typical puzzle-adventure game that only unfolds its full potential through VR technology, allowing the player to determine their own progress speed. How to further stressedEvery element was designed to be consistent with the VR world. Additionally, support for PlayStation Move controllers was announced, allowing you to interact with objects in the game, throw them, or move around. Ultimately, the goal is to create an extremely entertaining experience.

XING: The Land Beyond will soon be available for PlayStation VR.
