SEGA concludes the story of the protagonist and the Dragon of Dojima with 'Yakuza 6: The Song of Life', released today. The title is available now and, thanks to the new "Dragon Engine," is the most technologically advanced Yakuza game to date.

Features of Yakuza 6: Song of Life include:

  • Enter the “Dragon Engine” Experience the world of Yakuza like never before. Yakuza 6 is the first title in the Yakuza series developed for the current generation of consoles. From the very beginning, great care was taken to ensure that the PS4 perfectly recreates the Japanese underworld with detailed graphics, lifelike animations, interactive shop windows powered by a new physics engine with seamless transitions, and much more. Yes, you heard right! Fights can start on the street and end in a pile of shattered glass, scattered snacks, and mangled bodies at the nearest Poppo Store.
  • Explore the new Kamurocho and the beautiful Onomichi area – Thanks to the new Dragon Engine, the mesmerizing lights, opportunistic passersby, and hedonistic distractions of Kamurocho are depicted better than ever before. Redesigned minigames like karaoke, darts, SEGA arcades, and much more provide plenty of distraction after a long night of revelry. But even in the beautiful and tranquil Onomichi, tourists can easily get lost and lose themselves in its many more peaceful activities.
  • Let the Bodies Hit the Floor Kiryu from Yakuza 6 is a battle-hardened veteran when it comes to street fights. While it might not always look that way, where he strikes, nothing grows anymore. Devastating combos and bone-crushing Heat attacks make a comeback. Additionally, the Dragon of Dojima can now raise his Heat level to a maximum, utilizing Extreme Heat Mode. When this mode is activated, Kiryu glows blue and unleashes his full power! God help anyone who stands in his way!
  • Complete Japanese voiceover – For the first time in the history of the game series, every dialogue has a full Japanese voiceover. This makes the Far Eastern adventure unfold like an interactive movie.
