The zombie comedy 'Zombieland: Double Tap' is apparently getting its own video game adaptation, as a recent rating from Australia reveals.
Zombieland: Double Tap is a sequel to the 2009 Zombieland film, which was released in US cinemas in October 2019. A simultaneous game release therefore seems quite possible. However, it is unclear whether this game will follow the film's storyline. Regarding this, it is stated (via Wiki):
"As zombies become increasingly commonplace, yet also increasingly irrelevant, for the quartet of Columbus, Tallahassee, Wichita, and Little Rock, the two sisters leave the group. A road trip then begins as a rescue mission, during which the protagonists discover a completely new type of zombie."
If a game based on the film is indeed in development, it's unlikely to be a major AAA production. It could still be fun, though, even if it already sounds a bit trashy.
Further information regarding a potential game adaptation is expected in the coming weeks.
