Since its Early Access launch, the life simulator has reached an impressive number of players and is attracting a lot of attention with its ultra-realistic graphics and in-depth customization options. But the burning question for many console gamers is: when will InZOI for PS5 and Xbox?
InZOI is coming to PS5 and Xbox
Good news for all those who don't fancy PC: The developers have officially confirmed that InZOI will also be released for PS5 and Xbox. The game is currently only available via Steam in Early Access, but according to a message in the official Discord channel, a console release is firmly planned.
InZOI caused quite a stir with its character creation demo back in 2024. The game director openly admits that the game still needs some fine-tuning and has not yet reached its potential in many areas. The Sims 4 comes close. But the ultra-realistic graphics and enormous customization freedom could make it a real alternative, especially since The Sims 5 will be a long time coming.
When will InZOI be released on PS5 and Xbox?
The developer has specifiedthat Early Access will last at least one year. This would theoretically mean a PC completion date towards the end of March 2026. However, in the games industry, "at least one year" is often synonymous with "as long as necessary". Depending on community feedback and development progress, the timetable could still change.
Realistically speaking, the InZOI will land on consoles in 2026 at the earliest. Parallel development during Early Access is rather unlikely, as the team is likely to concentrate fully on the PC version for the time being.
InZOI already looks fantastic and has the potential to really shake up the life simulation genre. If you don't want to wait for the console release, you can already watch the game on the PC - everyone else will have to be patient. But it should be worth the wait!
