Entwickler Psyonix stellt heute den Rumble Modus für ‚Rocket League‘ vor, der als Teil eines kostenlosen Updates im September verfügbar sein wird und stark an Mario Kart erinnert.
Der Rumble Modus, der während der Rocket League Championship Series enthüllt wurde, bringt zudem 11 neue Power Up´s mit sich, die im Einzelnen wie folgt aussehen:
- The Boot (Kicks an opponent’s car)
- Disruptor (Forces your opponent to drive uncontrollably)
- Freezer (Freezes the ball in-place)
- Grappling Hook (Pulls you towards the ball)
- Haymaker (Punches the ball)
- Magnetizer (Attracts the ball to your car)
- Plunger (Grabs the ball via plunger and cord)
- Power Hitter (Allows you to hit everything harder)
- Spike (Attach the ball to your car when you bump into it)
- Swapper (Change positions on the field with your opponent)
- Tornado (Sweep up the ball and opposing cars into a giant funnel cloud)
Laut Psyonix werden die neuen Power Up´s das Spiel substanziell verändern, sowie erhält der Rumble Modus eine eigene Playlist, ist online oder in privaten Matches verfügbar.
Das Update wird im September kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt.
