Auch in diesem März werden wieder die GDC Awards vergeben, wobei diesmal die Entwicklerszene über ihre Favoriten der besten Spiele des vergangenen Jahres abstimmt. Erneut ist es hier Death Stranding, das gleich mehrfach nominiert wurde.
In insgesamt 7 Kategorien steht das jüngste Werk von Hideo Kojima zur Wahl, darunter auch beim Game of the Year. Angesichts der vielen Kontroversen über das Spiel dürfte dies für den ein oder anderen kaum zu erklären sein.
