Zum Wochenanfang wird es in ‚HITMAN 2‘ recht frostig, denn mit dem aktuellen Patch 2.13 ist auch das Snow Festival gestartet, das einige Besonderheiten, Items und mehr mit sich bringt. Später in dieser Woche trifft außerdem das nächste Elusive Target ein.
So erwartet euch im Hokkaido-Level eine neue Missionen, in der nicht nur Schneebälle zum Werfen zur Verfügung stehen, auch zwei neue Items lassen sich damit freischalten, darunter der Ice Pick und der Snow Festival Suit. Das Event läuft bis zum 12. Februar und setzt das Hitman Legacy Pack voraus.
Winter Sports Pack
Parallel dazu ist auch das Winter Sports Pack erschienen, das als Teil des Season Pass und separat erworben werden kann. Mit diesem erhaltet ihr zusätzliche Items:
- Wintersportanzug: Ein eng anliegender, mehrfarbiger dünner Pullover mit passender dunkelgrauer Cargohose mit verstärkten Knien.
- Schneeball: Ein Ball aus Schnee.
- Piton: Metalldorn zum Klettern. Scharf genug, um als tödliche Waffe eingesetzt zu werden.
- Quickdraw: Kletterausrüstung, die sich in engen Situationen als Faser eignet.
- Arctic Tool Box: Eine Toolbox für das arktische Klima. Kann zum Ausblenden illegaler Gegenstände verwendet werden.
Patch 2.13
Ab sofort ist außerdem der Patch 2.13 live, der folgende Korrekturen vornimmt:
- Overall Game Improvements – We’ve made hundreds of improvements, fixes and tweaks to the entire game across all disciplines. These improvements will greatly improve the experience of playing HITMAN 2. We’ve listed the stand-out highlights below.
- Interaction Prompt Size – We’ve added a new Gameplay Option that allows players to change the size of the item interaction text. There are three options; 1. Standard (default) 2. Same Size (Prompt and name are the same size) 3. Larger Text (Prompt and name are the same but larger overall)
- Handyman Wrench – Completing 15 Featured Contracts will now award the Handyman Wrench. If you’ve already completed the challenge associated this reward, the item will be added to your inventory shortly after the release of the game update.
- Question Mark – We’ve fixed an issue that could cause some NPCs to investigate distractions from unreasonable distances. We’ve asked them to hold back and be less curious. The NPC’s that you expect to investigate will now do so.
- Blurred Scope – We’ve fixed an issue that could cause 47’s rifle scope to be blurry when zoomed in.
- Suit Shadow – We’ve fixed an issue that was preventing 47’s shadow from rendering whilst wearing the Raven Suit.
- Closing Doors – We’ve fixed an issue that could cause the wine cabinet doors to always be open. They’re now closed for safety reasons.
