Wie zuvor immer vermutet, hat Gearbox heute die ‚Borderlands: The Handsome Collection Ultra HD‘ und die ‚Game of the Year Edition‘ angekündigt, die bislang vollständigsten Borderlands-Sammlungen für die aktuelle Generation.
Borderlands sah noch nie so gut aus, heißt es in der Ankündigung dazu. Erlebt Pandora in vollem Umfang auf der PS4 Pro Enhanced, Xbox One X Enhanced, 4K Ultra HD und HDR, um nur einige Features zu nennen. Borderlands: The Handsome Collection umfasst die endgültigen Versionen von Borderlands 2 und Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, die speziell für die Konsolen der aktuellen Generation entwickelt wurden, inkl. Split-Screen für 4 Spieler und alles in atemberaubender HD-Qualität. Die Ultra HD Packs erscheinen als kostenloses Update.

Die Game of the Year Edition verspricht obendrein komplett neue Waffen, visuelle Upgrades, Character Heads, goldenen Truhen und Schlüsseln, sowie alle vier Add-On Packs.

Die Borderlands: The Handsome Collection Ultra HD Packs und Game of the Year Edition erscheinen am 03. April 2019. Besucher des Gearbox Event dürfen sich sogar auf ein kostenloses Exemplar freuen.
Außerdem bestätigt wurden alle DLCs für Borderlands 2 VR, die im Sommer als kostenloses Update folgen, sowie ein physisches Board Game.
