Passend zu Halloween wurde das vierte Expedition Update für No Man’s Sky veröffentlicht, das einige Überraschungen an Bord hat.
Im ganzen Universum wurden Planeten durch die Aktivität von Titan Worms verwüstet, schreibt Hello Games. Diese kolossalen Sandwürmer pflügen durch den Wüstensand und verdunkeln die Sonne, während sie über euch fliegen und die Oberfläche verunreinigen.
Diesmal reist ihr auf den Planeten Wasan, eine karge Welt, die von Staubstürmen verwüstet und von Titanwürmern heimgesucht wird. Es liegt an euch, die Einschlagsstellen des Titanwurms zu finden, die elenden Hungernden Ranken zu zerstören und die abscheuliche Brut einzusammeln, die sich dahinter verbirgt.
Gleichzeitig entdeckt ihr damit einen düsteren Kult und müsst Atlas mit Beweisen für diesen unauslöschlichen Fleck im Universum konfrontieren. Neben dieser spannenden Erzählung wurden zudem zahlreiche Verbesserungen im gesamten Spiel.
