Nach ersten Gerüchten um eine ‚NieR: Automata Game of the YoRHa Edition‚ hat Square Enix dieses nun auch offiziell angekündigt, dessen Release für 2019 geplant ist.
Hierbei handelt es sich um eine klassische Game of the Year Edition, die neben dem Hauptspiel sämtliche DLCs und Boni enthält, darunter:

- Bonus Content
- Accessory: Machine Mask
- Pod Model: Grimoire Weiss
- Pod Skin: Cardboard
- Pod Skin: Retro Red
- Pod Skin: Retro Grey

- PlayStation 4 dynamic theme
- Avatar set
Momentan gilt die Ankündigung zwar nur für den japanischen Raum, da die NieR: Automata Game of the YoRHa Edition allerdings auch schon von der amerikanischen ESRB geprüft wurde, gilt der Release hierzulande ebenso als sicher.

Update: Square Enix hat den Release hierzulande für den 26. Februar 2019 bestätigt.
